Research Associate Position

The Nanoelectronics Laboratory at the University of Cincinnati has two Research Associate Positions available now.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:  

Fabrication of photonic devices, including electroluminescent devices and optical amplifiers.  Will perform thin film deposition, plasma-assisted etching, metalization, photolithography, optical and electrical testing.

Minimum Qualifications:  

B.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics and 2-5 years of experience in design simulation, fabrication and characterization of optical waveguides and other photonic devices and related communication applications.

Or

B.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics and 2-5 years of experience in rare-earth doped GaN electroluminescent devices and related applications in flat panel displays and optical amplifiers.

Graduate Student Assistantships

Research assistantships are currently available in the Nanoelectronics Laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
